100% Organic Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil
Product of Morocco
Bottled in the U.S.A.
Packaging:
After careful review of the oil’s many use cases, we chose a frosted glass bottle (60ML/ 2FL OZ) with a pump.
The frosting is to protect the oil from UV deterioration. We want you to enjoy the oil color as well. Simply wipe the glass bottle to restore frosting if any oil touches the bottle including during the application of the protective sleeve. Yes, the one we added for additional protection and ease of mind.
Argan Oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids with multiple hydrating and repair properties for skin, hair and scalp. Argan is also rich in vitamin E, or tocopherol, a fat-soluble vitamin that serves as a potent antioxidant that reduces the damaging effects of free radicals.
Argan Oil is composed of 99-percent acylglycerides (primarily triglycerides). Of these, oleic and linoleic acids represent the majority (up to 49% oleic and up to 36% linoleic). Argan also includes carotenes, tocopherols, triterpene alcohols, sterols, and xanthophylls. To put this in perspective, compare the tocopherol content in Argan oil (620 mg per kilogram) to that found in the wondrous olive oil (320 mg per kilogram).
Do not be fooled by a component driven assessment of the oil, however. While Argan’s components can be found in nature and in other oils, it is the naturally occurring balance of the components that is driving scientific research and curiosity about this oil. See our blog for studies and research news about Argan oil.
